Anti-bullying policy

Effective on Gissip everywhere, all the time.

Our promise. Gissip is a place for gossip, banter and real connection — not cruelty. Bullying, harassment, hate speech and threats have no home here.

1. What we prohibit

  • Personal attacks, insults, name-calling or ridicule aimed at another person.
  • Threats of violence, doxxing, or sharing someone's private information.
  • Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality.
  • Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual content sent to any user.
  • Coordinated pile-ons, mass-reporting, or brigading.
  • Impersonation intended to deceive or harm another person.
  • Encouraging self-harm or suicide.

2. How we enforce it

  • AI moderation scans public posts and reported content 24/7.
  • Human reviewers make the final decision on appeals and severe cases.
  • Consequences scale with severity: warning → content removal → temporary suspension → permanent ban.
  • Repeat or severe offenders lose their account and IP-level access.
  • Threats of real-world harm may be reported to law enforcement.

3. How to report

Every post, comment and message has a "Report" option. You can also block anyone and they'll never see your profile again. Our help center has a 24/7 AI agent that can walk you through a report step by step.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Treat others how you'd like to be treated — gossip about topics, not people's identities.
  • Don't share screenshots to shame or "cancel" someone.
  • If a joke lands badly, apologize. If you're being bullied, tell us — we'll act.

5. Appeals

If your content or account is actioned, you can appeal from Settings → Safety. A human will review your appeal within 48 hours.
